A quick introduction of myself.
I’m born, breed, live and educated in Singapore. Since graduating from college 14 years ago, I’ve joined an MNC as an IT solution specialist, a “nicer” job title for IT programmer. Although I’ve been with the same company for the last 14 years, I have the opportunity to explore different IT functions in different business environments, and for a good 2 year I had joined a marketing team as a program manager, something I would never have imagined given my “geeky” personality.
Fast forward to today, I am now practicing Enterprise Architecture in my organisation, as a certified TOGAF Enterprise Architect. It’s not an easy job, neither is it easy for me to describe what I actually do. But if anybody were to ask what my job is about, usually I would have responded with a simple answer “Somebody who draws colorful boxes and lines to confuse his audience”
On my free time, I like to play with gadgets, and write software for my own personal use (as you can see in some of my blog entries). I love drawing too, and even did caricature drawing many years back. However, ever since I picked up my (computer) keyboard, I have not touched my drawing pencil anymore.
Last but not least, I hate reading, although I do read at times, as a form to cure my sleeping disorder 😛

Would you be interested to create an iPhone/WIndows app for seeking social welfare help and the different services (e.g. counselling, therapy, special needs) in SIngapore? This app would be able to inform friends/family members of people who need help, and allow these friends to help out by proving info available on the app. This app can also provide geographical locational info like location on maps of the centres providing such services. I currently run a few Google maps layers on such welfare/social help services and have a database on many of such services.
I’m passionate about volunteering in the social service sector, and thought such an app would enable any regular guy/girl out there to be able to help provide vital info on avenues/sources/channels of help available where needed… Akin to blogs and tweets being the online tools for the citizen journalist, this app could be a bit like helping everyone be a citizen community volunteer through useful info.

Hi there, is there any chance you could port this app for android? There is a similar app for android, but it only supports htc sense devices.
